"This fabric is our tribute to the classic striped hickory twill fabric once associated with work wear among railroad workers. The two different colored warp yarns give the fabric the vertical stripes. By using the 3-by-1 twill construction the fabric remains smooth but still durable compared to plain weave. The hank dye technique allows the dye to penetrate the yarn deeper, resulting in low contrast fading over time.
