The Iron Heart traditional straight jean cut in 14oz black selvedge denim. Unlike reactive-dyed "Superblack" denim, this fabric is woven with a black sulphur rope-dyed warp yarn and a black sulphur-dipped weft. Finished with tonal stitching, expect these jeans to gradually fade to grey with wear and washing.

Fabric Focus
-Sanforized & One-Washed
- Sanforization is a post-weave mechanical process which removes most potential shrinkage from a fabric before garment construction
- To further reduce the risk of shrinkage, Iron Heart washes the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
- No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to the Iron Heart care guidelines
Stretch Details
- The waist will stretch out approximately 1" with wear. All other dimensions that are put under pressure will stretch proportionally to the waist
Care Guidelines
- Iron Heart recommends washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
