The IH classic straight-cut jeans, made using 18oz vintage selvedge denim. Reminiscent of denim from the early to mid-1900s, this fabric is woven for IH at the renowned Shinya Mill, celebrated for its authentic vintage-style denim.
Woven under relatively low tension, the 18oz selvedge is looser and softer than some of the more modern weaves, resulting in a pair of very breathable heavyweight jeans that require minimal break-in time. Due to the slightly more irregular weave, you can expect character-filled vertical fading that emphasises the textured nature of the denim.

Fabric Focus
Sanforized & One-Washed
- Sanforization is a post-weave mechanical process which removes most potential shrinkage from a fabric before garment construction
- To further reduce the risk of shrinkage, IH washes the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
- No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to the IH care guidelines
Stretch Details
- The waist will stretch out approximately 1" with wear. All other dimensions that are put under pressure will stretch proportionally to the waist
Care Guidelines
- IH recommends washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
