This is where it all started for Iron Heart — the traditional straight cut, medium rise jeans, made from 21oz indigo selvedge denim. Haraki san’s first jean design for Iron Heart combined with the signature heavyweight denim. Utilising a double-twisted weft yarn and lower tension weave, the 21oz denim fabrics are heavy and tough, while softer and more breathable than other heavyweight weaves — creating a pair of jeans that mould to the wearer’s body shape like no other.

Fabric Focus
Sanforized & One-Washed
- Sanforization is a post-weave mechanical process which removes most potential shrinkage from a fabric before garment construction
- To further reduce the risk of shrinkage, IH washes the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
- No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to the IH care guidelines
Stretch Details
- The waist will stretch out approximately 1" with wear. All other dimensions that are put under pressure will stretch proportionally to the waist
Care Guidelines
- IH recommends washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
