Iron Heart | IHSH-427-IND | 16oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt | Indigo
The yokeless western CPO shirt, cut from 16oz Japanese selvedge denim and finished with a corduroy collar. Produced for Iron Heart by the centuries-old Takata Orimono mill in Kojima, this vintage-style denim is woven using pima cotton ringspun yarns, creating an uneven, slubby twill with lots of texture.
Much like the Iron Heart 18oz vintage weave, expect this fabric to develop character-filled “Tate-ochi” vertical fades as the denim evolves with wear. As a CPO cut, this shirt offers a little more length in the body than the standard western cut, with oversized copper snap fastenings and additional hand-warmer pockets for versatility. For this model, IH has chosen to omit the western-style front yokes and include only a straight rear yoke for a more contemporary look.

Fabric Focus
Sanforized & One-Washed
- Sanforization is a post-weave mechanical process which removes most potential shrinkage from a fabric before garment construction
- To further reduce the risk of shrinkage, we wash the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
- No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to the IH care guidelines
Care Guidelines
- We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
